Who doesn’t know Bob Marley? His distinctive vocal style changed the way people perceived music, and his lyrics continue to spread messages of peace, love, and unity years after his passing. Even now, listening to him sing “’cause every little thing gonna be alright” in “Three Little Birds” makes every effing tragedy feel a little less hopeless and the future a little less bleak. And by that, we mean that even after the shittiest day at work, we really do feel like “every little thing gonna be alright.”

Such is Marley’s legacy that it inspires us to do our part in saving the human race. We may not have his musical gifts, but we do have other ways by which we can help such as volunteering to treat the entire team to merienda—that's charity— and saying no to paperwork—that's being mindful about the environment! Oh, but kidding aside, Marley really does inspire us to do our part to advocate for social change especially today as we're celebrating Earth Hour!
