Everyone's trying to anticipate the "new normal" for a year, but now it seems that we're really getting into it as industries begin to go back to as much of the proverbial grind as they could. For one thing, seat sales have returned, as Cebu Pacific offers a P25 seat sale to mark its silver anniversary.
Travelers can avail of the P25 one-way base fare from March 1 to 31 for travel up to Dec. 31, 2021, the carrier said.
Founded by the late industrialist John Gokongwei, Cebu Pacific revolutionized air travel in the country by offering the lowest fares. Gokongwei thought up starting a budget airline after flying Southwest in the US in the 1980s.
The Cebu Pacific seat sale was announced after the government set uniform porotocols for local travel that strikes out travel passes as a requirement. However, COVID testing will still be up to local exectuives.
In time for summer, Cebu Pacific said it was also increasing flights to Bacolod, Boracay, Cebu, Coron, Bohol, Puerto Princesa, and Siargao.
Would you consider taking to the skies soon?
