Local adventurers know that Camarines Sur in the Bicol Region is one of the top destinations when you're looking for a dose of adrenaline rush. It is home to the CamSur Water Park where you can wakeboard to your heart's desire; a number of waterfalls where you can go canyoneering and rappelling; and the famous Caramoan Islands, which gained popularity after being the filming location of Survivor. But getting there can be quite a challenge if you're not traveling by plane. A cheaper option is taking a 10- to 12-hour bus ride from Manila to Camarines Sur's capital Naga City, which can be stressful if you're not used to land travel. So, Bicol Isarog Transport System offers a solution: Oversized recliners where you can sleep and sit comfortably throughout the long drive.
The new Oversized "Lazyboy" Skybus Premiere has routes from Manila to Naga City, but they're looking to add more routes for the new fleet. Tickets for the first four slots, which are single oversized "Lazyboy" seats, are at P2,000; while tickets for the remaining reclining seats are at P1,250.
Bicol Isarog Transport System has other cool buses plying the Manila-Naga route: the Skybus Premiere 700, which has recliners with built-in massagers launched in 2016; the Ultimate Sleeper Bus, which has 18 beds launched in February 2018; and the "Lazyboy" Extreme, which has smaller recliners compared to the Oversized "Lazyboy" Skybus Premiere but still as comfortable.
