France has a reputation as one of the most romantic countries on Earth, and its capital, Paris, is known as The City of Love. Ariane Tricaud, Attachée culturelle of The French Embassy in the Philippines, attributes this to the city’s rich cultural history and the inspiration it gives to its inhabitants.

“Despite the fact that everything is going really fast, as in every big city, you can always find time to follow your own pace,” she explains. “There is the incredible feeling that you can do what you want whenever you want in Paris… I'm not being objective, but there is in Paris this strange alchemy, this magic that you won't find elsewhere.”
