And yet the problem is really just a lack of understanding: many women shun the sport because they don’t think it’s interesting, and they don’t find the sport interesting because they shun it. But those who do make the effort to learn about basketball often find that it can be exciting and that it’s more fun to share this interest than fight about it with the men in their lives.
