The Hollywood actress, best known for her role as Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries and recently named co-host of the 83rd Academy Awards, made a pitch to Glee's executive producer Ryan Murphy for a role on the hit TV show. According to the report from Pep.ph, Anne even created her own storyline, wanting to be cast as Kurt Hummel's aunt.
Knowing Glee's reputation for casting guest stars due to interest and public clamor--we've seen appearances by Hollywood stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Neil Patrick Harris, Broadway stars like Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, and voice artists like Olivia Newton-John, Josh Groban, and our own Charice Pempengco--the show's producers might just decide to pick up Anne's pitch.
