1. Explore the island, really!

Besides getting golden tan and swimming, there are various activities you can try while you are on the island. Go paraw-sailing, ride a banana boat, or even jump from a cliff at Ariel's Pointe. If you like ball sports, try beach volleyball just like volleyball stars Rachelle Daquis, Cha Cruz, and Michelle Gumabao, who hustled the sandy court last LaBoracay weekend.

2. Celebrate special occassions in the island.

Whether it's a typical summer bonding with loved ones or something as memorable as your wedding, make Boracay a part of your life's milestones.

3. Have a beachside feast.

After working on your trim bikini body, you can reward yourself by trying the different restaurants in the island. Indulge youself with the exotic dishes at Two Seasons, which is famous for their oyster sisig and four-cheese pizza. You can also enjoy La Cozina's generous servings of Latin American dishes. You won't regret the huge and fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs and Soutwestern Fiesta Chicken Rice. For dessert, Ti Braz's crepes are number one on our list!

4. Seek local flavor.

Sure, there are lots of restaurants in the island, but to fully experience authentic Boracay flavor, you must try their chori burgers and fruit shakes. These two, when eaten together, becomes a killer budget-friendly snack combo!

5. Clean up and restore the environment.

For us and the future generation to enjoy the sands and sea of Boracay, you must do your part in taking care of the island. Since Boracay is already considered a commercial place, garbage disposal has become a problem. Do your part by particiapting in shore cleanup activities like what Nestea has done last LaBoracay weekend (April 29-May 1). Dubbed as Nestea Love the Beach weekend, volunteers have helped pick up trash accumulated from days of partying.

AVP Marketing for Nestea, Leanne Jacinto says, “Looking beyond parties and volleyball, Nestea will be caring for and giving back love to the island that has housed our Nestea Beach event for so many years. To dial up our advocacy, a portion of the sales from our pitcher selling will be given to the Boracay Foundation, Inc. to fund a beach cleaning machine intended to keep the shores of Boracay clean all throughout the year. This time around, we are also conducting shore clean ups for 3 days as well as coral reef-urbishments, allowing more people to give back to the beach."
