3. While You Were Sleeping (1995)
Lucy Eleanor Moderatz (Sandra Bullock) is a transit worker who has no family and only has a few friends. When her longtime crush Peter (Peter Gallagher) gets robbed and pushed towards the tracks, she dives in to save him and ends up being mistaken for his girlfriend and meets the whole family.
5. Jack Frost (1998)
Jack Frost (Michael Keaton) never had much time for his wife, Gabby (Kelly Preston), and young son, Charlie (Joseph Cross). A year after his tragic death, his son plays a tune on his harmonica and Jack is brought back to life as a snowman. It's in this form that he tries to make up for the time he lost with his family.
6. Serendipity (2001)
Jonathan (John Cusack) met Sara (Kate Beckinsale) when they were just 20 years old. He believes in love at first sight and she believes in destiny. After 10 years, they try to find out if they are really meant for each other.
7. Love Actually (2003)
Nine love stories that are intertwined together. The characters include David (Hugh Grant), the newly elected British prime minister who falls for a young junior staffer (Martine McCutcheon), Sarah (Laura Linney), a graphic designer whose dedication to her mentally ill brother complicates her love life, and Harry (Alan Rickman), a married man who's tempted because of his new secretary, among others.
8. Elf (2003)
When Buddy (Will Ferrell) was a baby, he was accidentally transported to the North Pole. There, he was raised by elves and even thinks that he's an elf himself. He goes to New York to search for his father Walter Hobbs (James Caan), a cynical businessman–and that's where the adventure starts.
9. Christmas with the Kranks (2004)
Luther (Tim Allen) and Nora Krank (Jamie Lee Curtis) decide to skip their usual Christmas traditions this year since their daughter isn't coming home for for the holidays. Just as they're all set to travel to out of town, their daughter phones them to tell them that she's coming home for Christmas.
10. The Family Stone (2005)
Everett Stone (Dermot Mulroney) wants to bring his girlfriend, Meredith Morton (Sarah Jessica Parker), to meet his family for Christmas. Although she wants to impress his parents, things don't go as planned. Will their relationship go a long way?
11. The Holiday (2006)
Two women, one (Cameron Diaz) from America and the other (Kate Winslet) from Britain, swap homes at Christmastime after bad breakups with their boyfriends. While they enjoy their temporary homes, they both meet local men (Jack Black and Jude Law). Will they find romance?
