Back in 2019, couple KC and Richard Riva bought a vacant lot in Odiongan, Romblon. Initially, they thought of simply putting up a bahay kubo where they can unwind. But when the pandemic hit, KC and Richard decided to develop the land, transforming it into their very own resort-like escape!

With a budget of P350,000, the family was able to build an adorable tiny house. Inside, they have a kitchen, a mezzanine that doubles as a bedroom, and even a mini indoor pool.

Richard's favorite spot, however, is their mini forest. He tells Summit Media, "Nilagyan namin ito ng table with a big umbrella at tsaka duyan para doon makapag palipas ng oras."

Fulfilling his wife's childhood dream, Richard constructed a charming treehouse right beside their tiny home, too!

"We didn’t know [that] we’ll be able to build this amazing haven for our family," shares KC.
