Pets and their owners had a howlingly good time at the Philippine Animal Welfare Society's (PAWS) 8th annual Scaredy Cats and Dogs Halloween fund raising event, which was held in Eastwood City on October 23. The event aimed to raise funds for the rescued animals being cared for at the PAWS Animal Shelter.

The event was highlighted by a costume competition, but games, a photo booth, and free treats for both pets and owners all contributed to the success of the event. Celebs like models Joey Mead, Wilma Doesnt, and Victor Basa and designer Louis Claparols also took part in the event.

Apart from the prizes and games, PAWS director Rich Ilustre says, "Halloween is not only for people! Pets also look forward to going out and getting treats. And with all the nice costumes you can find nowadays in specialty shops and in the internet, pets can now take part in the celebration. This is good exercise for them, its an opportunity to socialize with other pets and is a great bonding activity for pets and their owners."
