As an events planner, the homeowner entertains quite a number of people at her studio unit. After all, it is where she usually meets clients and sleeps over when there's a lot of work to be done (or when her friends drop in and hang out.) The unit also occasionally serves as a temporary residence for visiting relatives.

She tried to decorate the space on her own by having the walls painted in lime green and orange. But she felt that something was still lacking. "I want this place to transform into a sleek, modern, comfy, and edgy [space], thus signifying the work that I am in, and at the same time a living place where I can easily transform after office hours into a cozy nook and entertain friends over," she wrote in her entry.

Real Living tapped designer Vivian Gacad to give the event planner the modern, comfortable space she craved. "[She] wanted to remove the disco colors, as she called them, and make it sleek and a bit mature," says the designer. In a short span of time, Real Makeover veteran Vivian was able to the homeowner's grant wishes.
