Here's Blue's winning photo from the 2010 FN Cutest Pet Contest. He was one of the three grand prize winners for the Dog Division.
Blue's cheerful, ever-present smile is a hit with pet lovers, and owner Jay Raon tells us he's even managed to convert some dog haters. Could it be because of Blue's trademark wink? Or do they give in when Jay says, "Dramatic actor!" and Blue makes a sad face? Blue's bag of tricks also includes batting his eyelashes prettily and standing on command, all easy reasons to fall in love with him.
Despite the glitz and glamor of Blue's fame, he still enjoys the simple pleasures a dog's life brings. He loves sleeping and drinking milk. He eats mostly dog food, but he sometimes gets a treat from the dinner table: his favorite white bread! Jay shares that when Blue sees bread, he stands up on his hind legs and patiently waits in this position until they give it to him.
In his spare time, Blue plays with his stuffed toys and hangs out with his best dog pals, Vodka and Hachi.
