The introduction of P2P buses has definitely made commuting around Metro Manila a lot more comfortable. And although there’s already an existing P2P bus route to and from Katipunan and Makati, bus company Delta Neo Solutions announced a new “hop on, hop off” P2P route that will be servicing Katipunan Avenue. Touted as the first P2P “ikot” bus, the test run has started on June 20.

The new Katipunan-based route will span the portion of the avenue from Aurora Boulevard up to Tandang Sora (and vice-versa), with a fixed bus fare of P12. No announcement has been made regarding loading and drop-off points, but this new service will hopefully make things easier for students to get around the perennially busy thoroughfare.
