If you’re thinking of finally putting your old phone to rest, then Samsung’s latest flagship devices will probably tickle your fancy. The South Korean tech giant has recently released the Galaxy S8 and S8+, and yes, they’re looking sharp!
The S8 and the S8+ boast of infinity display, the latest iteration of the familiar curved screens you’ve experienced with older Samsung models. This new technology does away with bezels (the edges of your screen), giving you an uninterrupted view of that crisp 2960x1440 resolution display which assures quality visuals and graphics.
Both phones sport 12-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization for sharp captures even in motion. It also comes with interesting modes, including pro mode, panorama, slow motion, hyperlapse, and food mode. The rear camera goes for 8MP and has wide selfie technology.
Another first for Samsung is the introduction of Bixby, their newest personal assistant which is set to go head-to-head with Apple’s Siri, Windows’ Cortana, and Google’s Assistant. Bixby doesn’t only answer your questions, but can also assist you with editing photos, sending files, and basically any task you need your phone to do.

The LG G6 was announced earlier this year, and is yet to be officially launched locally, but you’d probably be willing to wait because it combines sexiness and sturdiness in one efficient device. While it doesn’t have the curved edges of Samsung, LG’s flagship has very slim bezels around its 5.7-inch Dolby Vision™ display, which promises users a Quad HD+ experience. Developers have made it easier for the G6 to be held and manipulated with one hand so that people on-the-go (like you) can easily multi-task. It also comes with a dual 13-megapixel camera with a 125-degree wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel front camera with gesture shot. Oh, and did we mention that it’s water resistant up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes?
