A sculptural door, a wall covered in dragonfly carvings, and auction-worthy art pieces are just some of the features of this remarkable home.

Tiny faces, ears, shells, spirals, and roses all seem frozen on the large metal front door, created by sculptor Gabby Barredo. Pull the snakelike, studded door handle, walk through the door,and you’ll find yourself in a breezy living area, bathed in sunlight pouring in through picture and awning windows. Take one look around, and you’ll immediately know that this is a house that loves art.

The place may sound more like a museum than a family home, but it is actually very casual and inviting, in spite of the treasures it holds.
