Getting home after a busy day at work and a tiring commute definitely feels like a rewardso much so that you may just dump your bags and other stuff in odd places and forget to keep your space organized.

Everyone would probably agree that a clean room can help you get fully rested, however, in reality, you're often too fatigued to complete the cleaning process. This can end up having the mess multiplied and soon enough you'd be too overwhelmed to even figure out where to start.

If you're tired of the same cynical cycle, try the laundry basket method. Simply put, it's a mind-over-matter exercise that entails gathering everything that's out of place and keeping it in one spot for tidying later.

Start by grabbing a spare laundry basket (or a big box, if you don't have an extra hamper), then walk around your place and drop everything that isn't in the proper spot in it. Whatever is taking up space where it doesn't belong, chuck it in your basket.

IMAGE Sweet Revelations

This is a quick way, almost like magic, to make your home look cleaner, therefore, clearing your mind in the process. If you're riding on that clean space feeling, take it a step further by putting everything back where it needs to go. With much neater surroundings, you'll be able to recharge better.
