This home was originally decked out in Zen-Asian aesthete, which was then a perfect match to the owner's state of mind. But after friends said that it didn't completely capture the his personality, the owner relented and sought a change.

After spotting several cracks on the wall, the owner ended up remodeling. Let go were the Zen style and regard for any decorating rules. Now, the home is a vivid, unapologetic reflection of the owner's artistic streak. The living space boasts a heady, eclectic mix of styles—what with pieces like a neo-Baroque black chandelier, Crayola-bright pop art pieces, and antique Chinese vases from his grandmother. Also present are ingenious touches like the floral curtains made from fabric originally designed for skirts, as well as a framed sketch of model Kate Moss which the owner had torn out from a magazine.
