The entrance to this home literally makes joggers stop in their tracks. The low iron grill fence allows passersby to see the landscaped pebbles, stone, and tropical plants surrounding an ochre-colored house. The main attraction is the elaborately carved entrance door from Indonesia. It looks like the entrance to a tropical getaway. This door leads to the grand living room, a two-storey-high space enclosed by floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Natural materials, such as stone and wood, and soothing colors relax the eyes. The trickling sound of a built-in fountain in the living room soothes the ears. The house feels grand yet intimate and refreshing as well.
