Ducks Crossing a Highway

Crossing a busy highway is an act that’s usually associated with people who have a remarkable death wish. Now, while it’s highly unlikely that this family of ducks were planning on becoming roadkill, we do have to wonder what exactly was it that lay on the other side of the road—was it really worth risking life and limb (and feathers) for?
