The owner of the condo gave designer Fritz Santos the freedom to do whatever he wanted. Fritz was given two months to work his magic. That time frame combined with the small space proved to be a challenge. “Working with small spaces, there’s really not much you can do in terms of placing specific areas and furniture—you’re basically working with a grid,” he explains.
Fritz's main challenge was to add depth and dimension without sacrificing space. A play on volume was an important solution he employed in keeping the straightforward space visually interesting and still functional at the same time.
