The owners of this 250-sqm home didn't have a clear idea about how they wanted their house decorated, so they collaborated with architect and designer Gigi Peña, who started out by asking herself how she would have wanted to deck out the home if it had been hers. What the owners did know was that the home had to be kid-friendly and clean.

Though the owners wanted a more modern aesthetic, it's obvious that unlike the usual cold, contemporary homes, this is one that emanated warmth and character.
