article_clean-slate.jpg"It's kind of relaxing to come home to something that's almost bare," says this news correspondent of his new place. But his 41-sqm condo unit on the 23d floor is hardly bare. Though the high-rise pad—clad in a sophisticated palette of black, white, and silver—isn’t exactly spartan, what makes it "bare" is the absence of clutter and unnecessary décor.

"Ang pinaka-decoration lang na gusto kong makita is the clock and probably, yung miniature bike. Pero all the rest, very minimal. Hindi ako mahilig sa mga knickknacks," he explains.
