This condo unit, with its refined but statement-making interiors, is reflective of the owner's quiet and pensive demeanor. The beautifully crafted furniture and distinctive art pieces hint at stories of the past, and the inimitably stylish air the home possesses reveals the wisdom of the present.

Working with interior designer Dobie Aranda, the owner started renovating the two-bedroom condo soon after she bought it--a task that took two months to finish. The result is a tasteful, contemporary homage to the classics--a neutral black and white palette enveloping a luxurious space, filled with refinished Louis XVI chairs, lush damask fabric, crystal and mirrored surfaces, and rich dark chandeliers. Hints of Oriental art come into play with chests of drawers, a Guan Yin statue, and modern sculptural pieces.
