1. Make the connection.
A fun and quirky way to paint life into your home is by drawing the upper half of an illustration on the wall and continuing the next half on a piece of furniture. It’s a whimsical indulgence, but one that speaks volumes about your aesthetic sense.
2. Just roll with it.
In lieu of wallpaper, which can be difficult to remove, why don’t you opt for a pattern roller instead? All you need to do is make the corresponding measurements, find a design and a color that you like, and you can roll away!
3. Paint your stripes.
Stripes can be hard to miss, so if you really want a home that is all personality, these lines are the way to go. Vertical ones, in particular, can help make your room look bigger than it really is. However, you’ll need to be meticulous with your wall measurements. Use graphing paper to sketch out the division of the stripes and leave no room for error.
4. Draw a mural on your wall.
