This grand house reflects the fashion sense of its owner, a stylist and former fashion editor. A well thought out renovation turned the house from a confused mix of styles to a complex but cohesive space. Inspiration came from many things: checkerboard floors; neo-classical architectural details; rustic, distressed floors and chipped paint in old European houses; Rococo and architecture with some Gothic inspiration; and not surprisingly, a high-end fashion boutique.
