There’s nothing like a trip to the museum to uplift, inspire, and enlighten oneself. This is the sentiment behind Ayala Museum’s annual Inspire Every Day campaign, and the reason they’re offering free admission to all their galleries this Saturday, July 28. These include both permanent and current exhibitions such as Hidden Cinema: 100 Years of Philippine Cinema, Bamboo Road: Tel Aviv-Manila, and HISTORIA: Stories of Art.
The museum will also be offering talks by creatives Samantha Lee, Meryll Soriano, Pepe Herrera, Anina Rubio, Ramon Orlina, and Jeffrey Solares. Their discussions will revolve around the theme “Patience makes perfect.”
After all, in today’s fast-paced, social media-obsessed world, it’s easy to compare ourselves with others and become frustrated when we don’t improve as quickly as we would like. But Ayala Museum seeks to remind us that “patience is indeed a virtue; patience in relation to the pursuit of our craft, patience with ourselves, and patience in our quest to know who we are and where we are going.” The speakers will share how they got to where they are now, enforcing the idea that real growth takes time, and everyone grows at their own pace.
