While many dog owners are all right with allowing their fur babies to get occasionally scruffy, owners of show dogs invest time, money, and effort into making their pooches look picture-perfect. And there's a reason for this--puppies from champion lines sell for thousands of pesos, and even the stud fee for a dog with good marks can run up to a few thousand.

FN got a glimpse into a world where canines are the celebrities at the 2012 Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) Asia and Pacific Section Show, held at the SMX Convention Center in the Mall of Asia Complex, on February 24, 25, and 26, 2012.
