Photos that instigate nostalgia, songs that trigger memories, lost tapes that just make us yearn for our childhood—who doesn’t love a good throwback? In the spirit of FN’s ‘90s Week, we’ve listed down some of the things that might make you remember your ‘90s.

1. Mila Kunis’s Barbie Commercial

We all know Mila Kunis from Friends With Benefits, but did you know that the actress started her career much earlier? In the early ‘90s, when many of us were still playing with our dolls, Mila was living the dream. She was a commercial model for Telephone Tammy, Barbie, and other toys we wished our parents would buy for us. See her Glitter Hair Barbie video here.

2. Our Favorite '90s Toys


Remember those hideous troll collectibles with colorful frizzy hair that grew upward? While they first came out during the 1960s, these troll dolls regained immense popularity and were everywhere during the ‘90s. Even host Jimmy Fallon was not immune and in fact credits his comedic career to a troll doll. Watch him tell his story to Anderson Cooper here. And what about those original Polly Pocket toys? Kids today may love the new Polly Pocket, but we say the original one is still the bomb ('90s slang for awesome). Who knew something so tiny could keep us preoccupied for hours?

3. '90s Fashion

4. Clueless


Before Sex and the City and Gossip Girl, there was Clueless. Loosely based on Jane Austen's novel Emma, the film was every teenage girl's go-to guide for all things boys and clothes. We wouldn't be surprised if some of Cher's advice still applied today!

5. “I’ll Be There for You.”


Back in the day, there was no better song to perk you up than The Rembrandts’ “I’ll Be There for You.” It was catchy, memorable, and made you want to dance around a fountain with your Friends. In the spirit of ‘90s Week, why not set this now immortalized theme song as your morning alarm?
