Tune in to the daily news programs, and you’ll notice that most of the day’s headlines could be rather depressing: people are getting killed, mugged, or raped; wars are being fought all around the globe, and there is rampant corruption and injustice in our beloved country. Despite all the negativity surrounding us, we should still keep in mind that there are still people who still genuinely care for others, especially for the poor, the oppressed, and the powerless.
