Good news, coffee lovers! A recent study from Science Daily shows that moderate consumption of coffee is good for your health. According to the Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology: Journal of the American Heart Association, people who drank two to four cups of coffee a day had a 20 percent lower risk of heart disease compared to those who drank less than two cups or more than four cups. A slight decrease in risk of death from heart disease was also recorded although it wasn't found considerable.

The findings, which came from following participants' coffee consumption for 13 years, don't end there. Dr. Yvonne van der Schouw, professor of chronic disease epidemiology, said their results show that you can experience these health benefits from coffee without it increasing your chance of getting a stroke—a definite plus for all the Starbucks aficionados out there!

Tea fanatics, don't despair, because the study also found out that moderate to high consumption of tea daily lowers the risk of heart disease. So break out the tea cups and coffee mugs! Your favorite pick-me-ups are healthy drinks, after all.
