Miss World 2013 Megan Young made her Bench Fashion Week runway debut on March 11.

Clad in abs-baring outfits from the brand's Spring/Summer 2018 collection, the 28-year-old former beauty queen was easily a standout.

Megan is currently working on GMA's The Step Daughters, and the Kapuso actress shared in an interview with PEP.ph that maintaining her figure has become a challenge now that she has less time to go to the gym.

"Well, I try to maintain my body by eating a balanced meal. I don't deprive myself, I eat what I want, but I make sure na everything is balanced." Clearly, it works for the actress, because apart from her 25-inch waistline, she also has the energy to keep up with her career's demands.

Megan added, "Hindi naman ako ma-calorie count. Mine-maintain ko lang na dapat may carbs, dapat may greens, dapat may fruit, and dapat may meat. So I have a little bit of everything."

She also shared that she brings her own food when she goes to work. "Para at least I know what I'm eating, I know what's in my food, and ma-maintain ko 'yung balanced diet.

And what about her exercise habits?

"Now that I'm taping na-minimize na 'yung training ko. But usually, when I'm not doing a teleserye, I try to work out at least four to five times a week."

Whenever she can, the Starstruck alumna said she does a lot of weight training. "Weight training keeps me fit, I don't do a lot of cardio kasi hindi naman na kailangan na masyado. My cardio is basically mga High Intensity Interval... so mga burpees, mga warm-up, ganun lang.

"Most of the time, it's just weight training."
