When best friends Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez first got the call about possibly being ambassadors for WWF Philippines, they were on a bus in Cambodia on vacation. “It was from Joanne Ignacio,” Rovilson narrates. “At that time, she was a WWF executive. She just said, ‘Hey, Rovilson! We’d like you and Marc to be our ambassadors.’ I turned to Marc and said, ‘Hey, you want to be a WWF ambassador?’ and he said, ‘Yup!’

That was around three years ago and to this day, both men remain as supportive of WWF as they were then. “I mean there are so many little things you can do, but if everyone does it, it all makes such a big difference,” says Marc. In fact, they’ve even given FN a few tips on how to spend Earth Hour tonight as well as other eco-friendly tips to take your participation in the fight against climate change to another level.
