We've all heard the same thing growing up, having a pet will prepare you for grown up responsibilities. But that wasn't quite true, was it? We had lots of help with our pets when we were kids. There was dad to help us bathe them, mom to help us choose the best dog food, assorted siblings and cousins to help us in walking, grooming and (eww) cleaning up after man's (and woman's!) best friend. But now that we're grown up and more mature, in our world of careers, stilettos and parties, is there still room in our lives for a dog?
