March is a month that celebrates women. March 8 is International Women’s Day, but all throughout the month, we recognize the impact women have in the world by celebrating Women’s Month. What started out as a one-day event in Europe has spread all over the globe, and people from all walks of life take this month as an opportunity to honor the females who have contributed to the betterment of the world.Whether it’s the teacher who held your hand through your difficult academic life, the sister who taught you to be strong, the mentor who inspires you to be your best every day, the mother who gave you life, or the best friend who have proved that she will always be by your side, female role models are never in short supply. Apart from personal role models, there are also those women who've inspired our nation--even the world--with their talents and good deeds. And this month we pay tribute to them.
