Nothing compares to spending Christmas in the Philippines, a country where annual holiday traditions are held close to the citizens’ hearts. You can see signs of the holidays once the ‘ber months come around: parols are hung as early as September, Christmas songs can be heard in malls by October, and children can be seen caroling in November. These little reminders of the holidays gradually culminate in an explosion of gifts, food, religious customs, parties, and other festivities as December 25 draws closer.
With barely a week left before Christmas (time flies so fast, doesn’t it?), we want to know what your favorite holiday tradition is. Whether it’s the Noche Buena, the Simbang Gabi, or the annual holiday get-together of your whole clan, we’d love to hear all about it!
