Looking for an exhilarating activity to engage in this month? Find a partner and sign up for the Philips Urban Adventure! The competition, a one-day race around Metro Manila involving 12 two-person teams undergoing physical and mental challenges, happens on August 27, 2011. The prize? P100,000 in cash and goodies!
Register from August 2 to 15, 2011 by visiting www.philipsurbanadventure.com. Upload a photo of yourselves with anything related to Philips—whether it be a product, an activity, or a store. Include a short creative write-up about the team and photo concept, and why the pair should be among the finalists. From the initial pool of entries, 24 teams will be shortlisted by Philips’ judging committee based on photo creativity (50%) and write-up creativity (50%). These teams will be announced on August 17 via the official website and through the official Facebook page.
The 12 finalists will then be decided via public voting on the website. Fans can vote for their favorite teams from August 17 to 22, with the 12 finalists set to be announced on August 23. Regular updates on the event will be posted on the Facebook page.
