Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, are expecting their first child in July, Agence France Presse reports.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July,” read a statement from St. James Palace.

The palace also said that Kate, who was hospitalized for three nights in December for hyperemesis gravidarum, or acute morning sickness, is getting better. Though the sickness is often associated with twins, it has been confirmed that the couple is only expecting one child, though its sex was not revealed.

The child will be third in line to the throne after William and his father, Prince Charles, whether it is a girl or a boy.

It’s also possible that the child would share a birthday with William’s mother, the late Diana, Princess of Wales, who celebrated her birthday on July 1.
