The company that gave us those nostalgic feels with the successful return of the 3310 last May is now officially back in the smartphone game with their flagship phone.
HMD announced the Nokia 8 this week, where it introduced some of its specs and functions. It basically has a 5.3-inch IPS LCD display with QHD resolution, 4GB RAM, and 64GB built-in storage, all powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset.
More importantly, the Nokia 8 doesn’t have just one, not two, but three 13 Megapixel cameras to help you get all those perfect selfies and shots. These cameras are all premium Carl Zeiss lens with a dual rear camera system that shoots color and monochrome pictures while the front-facing camera shoots in full color.
But great selfies aren’t the only thing you can take with the Nokia 8. It has what HMD calls a Dual-Sight feature where you can apparently take “bothies” or split-screen photos from your front and back cameras at the same time. You can also use the Dual-Sight feature with videos while livestreaming on social media platforms like Facebook or YouTube.
The Nokia 8 will come in four colors namely: Polished Blue, Polished Copper, Tempered Blue, and Steel. It is expected to be rolled out globally starting September 6 and will set you back 599 Euros (roughly P36,000).
