Ladies, the Nokia 3310 is back!
The iconic phone from the '90s returns as it is re-launched by HMD early this morning at the 2017 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Featuring that well-loved silhouette made to look stylish and retro, the 3310 comes with improvements – a polarized 2.4-inch curved screen for better viewing even under sunlight, a colored display, a 2MP camera with LED flash for casual snaps, 2G capabilities, a 16GB memory that’s expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD, and really, REALLY long battery life that clocks up to 22 hours of talk time.
Of course, it also features your well-loved game Snake, which now comes in colored pixels.
Based on its simple specs, the 3310 isn’t out there to convince you that it’s the best of the best, but counts on the nostalgia of early mobile users who have known and loved Nokia as one of their first mobile phone brands. And nostalgia isn’t only the best part of this revival, as the Nokia 3310 only costs €49 or approximately Php 2,593.56, so there’s almost no excuse not to own one!
The Nokia 3310 is going to be available within the second quarter of this year, and will come out in four colors – warm red (glossy), dark blue (matte), yellow (glossy), and gray (matte).
