This week, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution. This gave us the opportunity to remember just what this tremendous show of unity meant for the Filipino people. And while many kids may not have appreciated the holiday if it hadn't meant a no-school day for them, many of us did our part to help teach them why People Power was such an important occasion in our country's history.But the week wasn't just all seriousness, though there might have been quite a bit of nostalgia as moms of teens help their sons and daughters get ready for prom night.
