Mihaela Noroc, a photographer and backpacker from Romania has traveled to 37 countries and have taken stunning portraits of women of different backgrounds. “I love the variety of the earth, the diversity of people, and I try to go beyond their surface, to discover their sincere and authentic side, to photograph it,” she says. “In my opinion, beauty means to keep alive your origins and your culture. To be natural, sincere, authentic, particular, not necessary fashion or skinny,” Norac adds, describing how diverse the concept of beauty is and why she wants to travel more to explore. “ I hope my project will remain a witness of my era’s cultures and traditions,” she shares. A Dutch man survives a 4,000 feet fall in Sri Lanka!
The high definitely won’t be worth the pain in this sitch. Thanks to a tree 130 meters from the top, this Dutch man can still live happily ever after with his wife. He actually survived a fall from the World's End—a 4,000-foot cliff and tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. According to reports, the 35-year old man was snapping photos of his new bride when he stumbled and fell. About 40 men assisted him and he was carried three miles; police officers said that he is in a stable condition. Whew!
