According to a recent study featured on Elite Daily, the biggest regret of men and women between 51 and 70 years old, the ages of our parents, is not seeing the world as much as they could have.

Out of 2,000 survey respondents, 22 percent cited that the main reason for them not being able to travel sooner is work. Moreover, 63 percent of females admitted that they never considered traveling or even having a passport in their younger years because they didn’t think they could afford it in spite of working hard. The study also revealed that 26 percent regret losing contact with friends, while 12 percent of the female respondents wish they could have spent more time with their children.

The moral of the story? Travel more and love enough to live a life without regrets.
