NOCHES DE SEVILLANAS
The juerga or flamenco parties that are Noches de Sevillanas (or Sevillanas Nights) entail fun-filled evenings of music, dancing, and drinking and the introduction to the Sevillanas, a popular Spanish folk dance. Apart from the live music and authentic flamenco guitarist, you'll get to fill your belly with Spanish tapas, sangria, and beer in between dances. The first parties are on June 2, 16, and 30 at 8:00 PM. Clueless on what you'll be doing? Dance Assistants will be willing tutors and partners—and Spanish dancer and flamenco artist Clara Ramona will be on hand to give beginners a free introductory lesson starting at 8:30 PM!
The entrance fee is set at P250, inclusive of one drink.
TABLAO FLAMENCO
The Tablao Flamenco nights on June 9 and 23 is a Spanish cultural show featuring flamenco dancers (called bailoares) and a set program which will be different each week. Each performance will include solos and programs with two core dancers of Clara Ramona & Co.—and Clara Ramona herself will be a guest performer on both dates in June. The June 9 program will feature Mercedes Soler and Maradee de Guzman, while the June 23 program features Liza Diño and Jameela Perez. The program begins at 8:00 PM on each night.
Tickets are priced at P700, inclusive of the show, sangria, paella, and Spanish tapas. Interested parties should call for reservations since seating is limited and exclusive.
