Great news, FNites! Female Network, the biggest site for Filipinas and their interests, just got a revamp!

With a monthly average of over 300,000 unique visitors and 7 million page views thanks to your help and loyalty, we at Female Network wanted to give you a bigger, better experience of FN, something we'll continue to develop over the next few months with even more features and upgrades.

We're sure you're familiar with your favorite channels and features, but read on to learn about the new design and content.

NEW LOOK

FN still maintains its signature pink, purple, and black colors, but now the site design is more streamlined and organized. You can find all the latest news and articles on the main page.

Each channel now also has sections so you can easily browse the site according to specific topics. Are you looking for hot celebs? Hover on the Celebrities channel link on the topbar and click on 'Hotties.' Going traveling? You can click on 'Destinations' or 'Travel Tips' under Travel & Leisure, depending on what you're searching for.



Aside from the channel sections, though, you may also notice a change in the commenting system and in the way the latest articles are displayed on the homepage.

The News Feed

One thing you'll probably notice right away is the addition of a news feed. This will be updated several times a day with stories on showbiz and entertainment news, health findings you should know about, and even politics and current events, so we hope you'll stay tuned! But don't worry if you miss anything--you can always backread via the News Feed homepage.


Real Women, Real Stories

For the past couple of months, you've been enjoying the stories of real women and their tragedies and triumphs shared with us by our sister magazines. Now, we've started to hear from you, our readers, and we'll be including the stories you submitted in our Real Women, Real Stories section. So keep an eye on this page for inspiring, thought-provoking tales of personal triumphs and tear-jerker stories of heartache and injustice. And, if you've got your own tales to tell, do share them with us via our Submission page.


Staff Blogs

Another new section is our Staff Blogs section, where members of the Female Network staff can share stories, tips, observations and more! Let Managing Editor Liana share the ups and downs of work, sex, and relationships in "Married without Kids." Be entertained by Staff Writer Belle's observations and stories about her favorite TV shows, movies, and music artists in "Pop!." And learn about Editorial Assistant Pat's fashion woes, fab finds, and more in "A Spoonful of Style."


Ecards and Downloadables

We've also decided to make it easier for you to acces our E-cards page as well as our Downloadables, which include our very popular printable gift tags from Christmas last year as well as our book plates and name tags. And don't worry--there will be more to come! Both pages are under our new channel, Fun Stuff & Community, where you'll also find the Staff Blogs, Columns, Promos & Coupons, and more. Our MyFN feature is currently under construction, but watch out next year for this and even more exciting features to make your FN experience even more helpful and enjoyable.
