no_communion_for_rh_bill_supporters_inside.jpgSantuario de San Jose in Mandaluyong City apparently released a statement that urges parishioners who support the Reproductive Health Bill to abstain from receiving communion "until they go to Sacramental Confession and renounce the RH Bill." The statement adds that the RH Bill is "not only unconstitutional and ineffective," but also "immoral and evil."

While the parish acknowledges that their decision is controversial, they clarified that this action is "not a condemnation of sinners, but a condemnation of sins and a call to the sacrament of reconciliation."

This statement from the Parish Pastoral Council of Santuario de San Jose comes hot on the heels of the the House of Representatives voting 20-3 to endorse the RH Bill for plenary approval.
