A ground attendant for Philippine Airlines is taking a congressman to court after he publicly insulted her by calling her a “menopausal bitch.” The issue stems from the congressman's request for a better seat so that he would be closer to his sons.In a report from GMANews.TV, Sarah Bonin Ocampo, a member of PAL's ground crew, talks about how she was publicly berated by Congressman Eulogio Magsaysay after telling him that moving him to a better seat would be impossible since the flight was full. Rep. Magsaysay then threatened Ms. Ocampo, shouting "papasisante kita (I will have you fired from work)!" She relays that both the insult and threat were heard by her colleagues and supervisor.
Ms. Ocampo is now in the process of filing a lawsuit against Cong. Ocampo for "unbecoming conduct" at the Office of the Ombudsman and House Ethics Committee.
