Romance is in the air at The Peninsula Manila, not just on Valentine’s Day but throughout February.

From February 1-March 3, The Peninsula Manila is offering the They’re Playing Our Song” Valentine’s Room Package. They’re Playing Our Song is the love story about an award-winning, straitlaced composer who falls for a quirky, aspiring lyricist, and is based on the real- life love story of Marvin Hamlisch and Carole Bayer Sager. This romantic musical written by Neil Simon stars Nikki Gil and Lorenz Martinez and is produced by 9Works Theatrical.

The Peninsula’s room-musical theater package treats guests to a surprise serenade from singing pageboys, tickets for two to the “They’re Playing Our Song” musical at the Rizal Commercial Banking Center (RCBC) Carlos P. Romulo Theater, a meet-and-greet with the cast, round-trip Mercedes-Benz limousine transfers, a three-course dinner for two at Old Manila with a glass of Champagne and bouquet of flowers, among many other romantic treats. This romantic Valentine package costs P16,500 for the Deluxe Room and P20,500 for the Premier Suite.

You can also opt to be pampered with The Peninsula Manila Signature Massage that revitalizes and refreshes with its fusion of Eastern, Western and deep-tissue techniques using warm “Simply Peninsula” oils. The 90-minute treatment is priced at P3,300.

The Peninsula also has several dining offers for couples who wish to celebrate Valentine’s Day at the hotel. You can sit under The Lobby’s magnificent “Sunburst” sculpture and fire up passions with a sumptuous dinner buffet (P3,100 for adults, P1,200 for children under 12). Another option would be the romantic five-course menu at Old Manila especially prepared by Chef de Cuisine Samuel Linder (P4,500 with a glass of champagne for adults, P3,900 without the champagne); or the spectacular buffet at the hotel’s Escolta restaurant (P3,100 including a glass of champagne for adults, P2,200 without champagne for adults, P1,200 for children under 12).

For an oriental dining experience, you can also head to Spices for its Asian a la carte menu. On the other hand, if you’re single and looking to party the night away in style, you can head to Salon de Ning for the Black Valentine Singles Party. All ladies visiting any of the hotel’s establishments on Valentine's Day will also be receiving a complimentary long-stemmed rose in honor of the occasion.

The Peninsula Boutique also offers a delightful selection of wines, chocolates, and other selected gourmet items, while The Peninsula Flower Shop has a variety of bouquets and arrangements that are guaranteed to bring a smile to any woman’s face.
