"Midnight / Not a sound from the pavement / Has the moon lost her memory? / She is smiling alone." So begins the most famous song from the second longest-running Broadway show ever, Cats. And now the seven-time Tony Award-winning musical is coming to Manila, with our very own Lea Salonga set to play Grizabella, who sings the haunting "Memory," quoted above. She joins the long list of superb musical actresses to fill Grizabella's fur, including Dame Judi Dench, Elaine Page, Betty Buckley, and Laurie Beechman.

The musical will be performed at the CCP Main Theater from July 24 to August 8, 2010.
