After the success of previous plays Bare 2012, Little Shop of Horrors, and Disney’s High School Musical: LIVE, Ateneo Blue Repertory, one of the country’s most sought-after college theater organizations, will now take on 13: The Musical, a coming-of-age story showcasing the ups and downs of adolescence.

13: The Musical follows the story of Evan Goldman, a New Yorker who is about to turn 13 years old. After his parents’ divorce, he moves from the big city to the suburban town of Appleton, Indiana, where he has to make new friends and build a new reputation from scratch. Follow Evan’s journey through adolescence as he deals with bullies, first kisses, backstabbing, and the hardships of fitting in.

The play will be directed by theater veteran Toff de Venecia, who was nominated for Best Director in the 2011 Broadway World Philippines Awards for his work in Little Shop of Horrors. Reb Atadero will take charge of the musical direction, while Mica Fajardo will handle the choreography.

Ateneo Blue Repertory’s 13: The Musical will run from July 25 to August 11 at the Fine Arts Theater, Ateneo de Manila University. Please contact Aina Pacificador at 09175002462 for ticket inquiries.
