The Parenting Foundation of the Philippines (PFP) will launch "My Family... My Home..." on Saturday, December 3, 2011, 2:30PM to 6:00PM at the The Club, Greenbelt Parkplace, 112 Carlos Palanca St., Makati City.

The 125-page collection offers an insight into the plight of abandoned children who have found love and care from foster families. Published by UNICEF and supported by the UNICEF Philippines Child Protection Section, the book also aims to encourage family-based alternative care and talks about the newly-passed Senate Bill No. 2486 or the Foster Care Act of 2010.

The book can be purchased for P1,000 through pfp_sw@yahoo.com.ph. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the various projects of the Parenting Foundation of the Philippines.
